The Team

Our team at Hilmarton Preschool consists of staff, parents, committee members, carers and many other volunteers to ensure our organisation is a success. Our team are constantly reflecting on our practice, we have a self evaluation file within preschool to highlight areas of interest/improvement and feedback from our parents (past and present). Everyone is more than welcome to pop in and take a look or even add to it.

Staff

Central to the team are, Steph, Vicky, Emma & Alison. They are responsible for the day to day operation of the preschool and carry out all the fantastic work with the children. These dedicated individuals ensure unique support & care for every child, and our children thrive in this small caring environment. Our key team members are fully qualified and are encouraged to complete regular training and development.

Committee

The preschool is a registered charity and is run by a board of trustees and committee members. The Committee is responsible for making sure that the preschool runs efficiently, safely, within the law and meets the needs of the children and parents that use it. By being a member of the Committee you, as a parent or carer, are in an ideal position to help make this happen. All trustees and committee members are OFSTED approved and DBS checked.
The current management committee members for 2023/2024 are;

Chairperson – Georgie Miller

Secretary – Kizzy Collins

Treasurer – Victoria McDonald

Should you wish to get more involved in the running of the preschool, we hold an Annual General Meeting in September each year where a new committee is elected and any parent of a child at preschool or toddler group can stand for election.

Parents and Carers

The preschool provides a great opportunity for parents and carers to get involved in many different ways. Join the staff during their day for parent helper time, become a committee member, help with fundraising or organise events. Everyone is offered a chance to join in and contribute.
